Yes. Our contract requires clients to be responsible for a lot of things. Because of that we’ve specifically tailored this policy so that you’re able to meet those obligations without concern.

Our requirements are very specific. The other policies that you’re seeing online don’t contain the language we require. Part of the reason that Nuptial offers this as a service to both of us is so that you can meet those requirements at as low a cost and as easily as possible. The other reason is so you’re guaranteed to have the right coverage to take care of your obligations in our contract.

Your event insurance protects your interest in hosting the event, not your vendors. We can discuss which vendors are, or aren’t, required to have their own coverage.

No. This policy is designed for the host of an event, not someone who is a caterer, bartender, DJ, or photographer.Think of your event as a business. Your business is hosting an event, and your vendor’s business is being a florist or baker. Because of this, your policy isn’t designed to cover those things.

All decorations must be brought in and removed within your contracted rental time. Nothing may be delivered or stored beforehand. Only approved tapes (stage, drafting, painter’s, gaffer’s, or Scotch wall-mounting tape) may be used—no tacks, staples, screws, Command hooks, or other adhesives. Décor may not hang from light fixtures and must be freestanding unless you receive written approval. Additional furniture or floor-based items also require written approval. No items may be stored in the kitchen or utility closet. All décor must be removed by the end of your rental period, and any damage will result in additional fees.

The use of rice, birdseed, sunflowers seeds, pumpkin seeds, food items, glitter, potpourri, confetti,
balloons, or wish lanterns is strictly prohibited. Bubbles and sparklers are permitted outdoors only
and must be approved in advance. Only real flower petals may be used. Please consult with
Carolinas Lane staff for specific allowances on outdoor materials.

The use of candles must be approved in advance. Battery-operated candles are recommended.
Open-flame candles must be contained in glass enclosures, and the flame must remain at least
two (2) inches below the top of the glass.Sparklers may only be used outdoors and must be lit at least ten (10) feet from any building
structure. Under no circumstances may sparklers be lit inside the venue. Clients are responsible
for providing a non-plastic bucket filled with water or sand to safely dispose of spent sparklers.
Improper disposal or damage caused by sparklers will result in a damage fee.

Carolinas Lane provides a selection of round or rectangular tables, table linens, and Napoleon chairs with leather cushions. Tables and chairs will be set up by Carolinas Lane staff before the rental period begins. Only the designated planner may adjust the table and chair setup during the rental period. Additional furnishings or amenities will be outlined in the Notes section of the agreement, if applicable.

Vendors can begin setting up at 8:00 AM. This ensures they have ample time to prepare before your event begins.

Yes, you can.Carolinas Lane maintains an Open Vendor Policy, allowing Clients to select the professionals of their
choice. Clients are solely responsible for securing and coordinating the following vendors:
* Wedding Planner or Certified Event Coordinator (required)
 *DJ or Band / Live Entertainment
*Caterer and Cake Vendor
*Photographer and/or Videographer
*Florist and Event Decorator
*Officiant (if applicable)

All vendors must be approved by the Venue and must comply with Carolinas Lane’s policies and
insurance requirements.

Carolinas Lane does not provide event coordination. All wedding
coordination must be managed by a professional event planner secured by the Client.

Bar

No, we do not offer in-house catering. However, you may bring your own licensed and insured caterer to serve at your event.

We do not provide bar service directly, but you are welcome to bring a licensed and insured bartender. Hard alcohol is Not allowed at the venue. Only Champange, Wine or Beer. We require a South Carolina licensed bartender. Beer, wine and champagne is covered under the insurance that is included in each package.  
Carolinas Lane does not provide or serve alcohol. An insured, professional bartender must be
contracted by the Client and will assume all liability for the service of alcohol. Carolinas Lane requires
a minimum of $1,000,000 liquor liability insurance per occurrence and a $2,000,000 general
aggregate policy. Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than thirty (30) days prior to the
event.
Liquor is strictly prohibited. Only beer, wine, and champagne may be served.

Music must conclude no later than 9:30 PM. Amplified reception music is
permitted only within the main hall, and the doors must remain closed while music is playing
to contain sound.

The only pets allowed participating in the ceremony and service animals also. All pets must be kept on a leash and have an attendant during the time they are on the property. No pets are allowed except approved service animals or family pets directly involved in the
event, upon prior approval.

By providing credit card information, Client authorizes the Venue to charge the card for any agreed-

 Guest attendance exceeding the maximum allowed under the Agreement.

 All cancellations must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Carolinas Lane to be
effective.
All payments made to date, including the retainer fee, are non-refundable and will be
retained by Carolinas Lane as liquidated damages, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
 Upon receipt of written notice of cancellation, the event date will be released and made
available to other prospective Clients.

Smoking

Carolinas Lane is a smoke-free and e-cigarette-free property and vaping free. Smoking is strictly prohibited
anywhere on the premises, with the exception of one clearly marked designated smoking area. No vaping or use of e-cigarette is allowed anywhere inside of building. A
fine of $250.00 per incident will be imposed on the Client(s) for any violations of this policy.
